University of Idaho 职业服务 is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information of students and alumni.

职业服务 contracts with 握手, an online career development system, to provide U of I students and alumni with a resource for job listings, resume services and on-campus interview scheduling.

Student and alumni profile data, resumes and accompanying documents will reside on secure servers owned and managed by 握手. 握手® servers are hosted by Amazon Web 服务 (AWS).

Collection and access to student information is governed by U of I and federal policy under the Family Educational Rights and 隐私 Act (FERPA)，以及 University of Idaho Computer Use Policy. Information collected will be used by 职业服务 to provide tailored services to users. Student/alumni data may also be used by 职业服务 for reporting purposes to assist in program improvements. Data used will be in aggregate form only.

Job and internship postings placed through 握手® may or may not be reviewed before posting. Users are urged to research postings and use discretion when applying for positions. Do not disclose social security information, bank account numbers, credit card information or other highly sensitive information when applying for jobs and internships.
